Asha's Top Pick: Ziva Meditation

As someone who craves variety and movement, I never expected to be a twice-a-day everyday meditator. I certainly never expected my mother -who has never shown the slightest interest in wellness or personal development- to do the same. Ziva changed all that. It's helped me sleep better, feel calmer, and be more clearheaded (which is no less than a miracle in this weirdo time). It is responsible for a significant portion of my creative output and decision making since I started it 10 months ago. The Ziva technique simple, requires no special equipment or environment, and will continue to benefit you forever. Whether you're new to meditation, meditation-curious, or an experienced meditator, try Ziva out for three days free or sign up for Ziva now. BIG BONUS: Sign up for Ziva using my links and get access to The Resilience Menu.

The Resilience Menu is my original framework for how to "do" self-care when you're overworked, overwhelmed, under-energized, or chronically ill. It's for hot mess, all-over-the-place people with too few spoons and too little time. I'll teach you a way that will work for you, with a special section on how I use Ziva to get more done in less time on not-enough sleep.

Business Tools and Software

Liz Wilcox

Carrd

Paperbell

Liz is a brilliant copywriter and email specialist. Her $9/month Monthly Email Membership is the BEST thing I can recommend to anyone struggling to maintain a relationship with their email list. I recently started using this 20 Minute Newsletter framework and have been blown away by how simple it is.

Carrd is my favorite tool for quick, dirt cheap (like...$20 a YEAR) websites that look great, have no branding, and work beautifully. They're simple, elegant, mobile-responsive, and have great customer service (I've contacted them!) My website is built on Carrd as is the Get Inspired Kit sign up page, but they have plenty of other designs to suit.

Are you a coach or consultant? Paperbell is about to be your new best friend. It's an all-in-one easy-to-use software that keeps track of your clients, packages, and offers; billing; scheduling; contracts and more.

The Contract Shop

The Contract Shop has been a lifesaver for me to get my business set up and fully legal. My ADHD and executive function was NOT keen on this, and I found it utterly overwhelming until I found The Contract Shop. Contracts are their thing, but they also a fantastic Terms and Conditions template for your website.

ConvertKit

ConvertKit is my top recommendation for anyone looking to start an email list. It's free to get started, simple to learn, and has enough robust features to keep you satisfied for a long time. BONUS: Start using ConvertKit through my link and I will send you a list of my favorite free and low-cost ConvertKit and email resources to help you get started with ease.

Emilie Wapnick

Emilie Introduced me to the word multipotentialite. Her TED talk is so good I include it in my intro email as a way to understand who I am and what I do. Her book is essential for anyone trying to make sense of their multipotentiality.

Yoga Tune Up Balls

As a dancer and a massage therapist, my body is always feeling...things. Yoga Tune Up Balls have changed my relationship with my body. They are super portable and help me get to knots and deal with pain on my own, wherever I am. The book has soooo many techniques and positions so you'll never be lost as to what to do to get to that stubborn knot.

Lifestyle

Misfits Market

If you know me, you know I love food. I've been a vegetarian for almost 20 years, hate food waste, and care deeply about the state of the world and the people in it. Misfits Market delivers fresh produce (and now other groceries!) straight to your door. They rescue stuff that would otherwise be wasted, help employ people who struggle to find jobs, and are convenient - all at a great price. I've been using them since the first week they were available in my area. SO much love for them. (US only for now!)

Barre3

Outside of dance, formal movement or working out has always been a struggle for me. I get bored by repetition and crappy music, annoyed by instructors who are overly breathy or perky, and can't deal with workouts that don't offer modifications that will work for me. Barre3 has been part of my life for 4 years now. I am never bored, and can always find workouts to meet me where I'm at that day. As a massage therapist, and dancer, I appreciate their low-impact on my body, and the many adaptations they offer. It is such a well-balanced workout. OFFER: Free 14 day trial.
